Tom Brookes, a freelance PPC specialist managing Google and Meta Ads campaigns, had an existing Framer website with spacing inconsistencies, poor visual hierarchy, and an underwhelming case study presentation that failed to showcase his expertise effectively. I was brought in to redesign and optimize the landing page, fixing spacing issues throughout, establishing clear visual hierarchy, redesigning the case study section for better impact, polishing the hero section, and ensuring all breakpoints looked professional across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Challenge
The original website suffered from inconsistent spacing that made sections feel cramped and disorganized, weak visual hierarchy that failed to guide visitors through the conversion journey, and a basic case study presentation that didn't effectively demonstrate Tom's results-driven approach. The hero section lacked visual impact, and responsive breakpoints had alignment issues that made the mobile experience feel unprofessional. These design problems undermined Tom's credibility as a PPC expert and likely reduced conversion rates for his consultation bookings.
Solution
Spacing System & Visual Hierarchy Overhaul: Implemented a consistent spacing scale throughout the entire page using a structured system (e.g., 16px, 24px, 40px, 64px, 96px) to create breathing room between sections and elements. Established clear visual hierarchy through refined typography scale, strategic use of white space, and proper content grouping. Created clear separation between sections while maintaining cohesive flow, ensuring visitors' eyes naturally move from hero to services, case studies, and contact form in a logical progression.
Case Study Section Redesign: Completely redesigned the case study presentation to showcase results-driven work more effectively. Created a tabbed interface allowing visitors to browse multiple case studies (Tree Surgery Business, Professional Audio Equipment, Psychotherapy Practice, Vehicle Conversions, E-commerce) without overwhelming the page. Each case study now features prominent metrics (97 Leads at £14.99 CPL), clear campaign descriptions, visual proof with screenshots, and strategic layout that highlights Tom's expertise in Google Ads optimization. The new design positions Tom as a data-driven specialist who delivers measurable results.
Hero Section & Responsive Polish: Redesigned the hero section with stronger visual impact, clearer value proposition, and improved CTA placement ("Book a Free 15 Minute Call"). Enhanced the professional headshot presentation and integrated credibility indicators. Refined all responsive breakpoints (desktop 1440px+, tablet 768-1439px, mobile <768px) to ensure consistent spacing, proper text sizing, and aligned elements across all devices. Fixed mobile navigation, form fields, and card layouts that previously had alignment issues, creating a polished, professional experience regardless of screen size.
